The Department of Finance provides tendering services for a number of Government agencies. This service includes managing the release of request documents, operating a formal ‘tender box’, formally registering the receipt of hard copy tenders and assisting with general enquiries about the tendering process.
The Department of Finance Tenders Office is located at:
Ground floor, 16 Parkland Road
OSBORNE PARK WA 6017
Postal Address (for general correspondence only and not for tender lodgement):
Locked Bag 44, CLOISTERS SQUARE WA 6850
Telephone Number: (08) 6551 2345
Email Address: firstname.lastname@example.org
Hours of operation are from 8:30 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday.
Currently, we provide tendering services for a number of agencies that cover the procurement for both goods and services and works.
Where the Department’s Government Procurement business facilitates the tendering process on behalf of an agency, we will provide the necessary tendering services. The agency Government Procurement liaison can provide more information on how these services are arranged.
Where Government Procurement is not involved, for example where the procurement is less than $250,000, we are available to provide an independent tender management service. This can be put into effect through a service level agreement, which defines the release and closing service available.
For further information about the available services, please contact Manager Tendering Services Juliette Reay on 6551 1043 or email@example.com
Currently the Tenders Office supports only works procurement managed by the Department’s Building Management and Works business and the Department of Treasury’s Strategic Project and Asset Sales division.
Officers within either unit who have questions on Tenders Office operation are encouraged to contact Tendering Services on 6551 2345 or at firstname.lastname@example.org
Officers in other agencies should contact their Chief Procurement Officer, procurement support officer or business unit to obtain information on how the agency manages the tendering process.
Tendering opportunities are advertised through Tenders WA www.tenders.wa.gov.au
Prospective suppliers are encouraged to register on Tenders WA, where they can set up a customised profile to receive email alerts on tenders that may be of interest. Helpdesk assistance is available by contacting Procurement Systems on 6551 2020.
Tendering services are available to assist with general tendering enquiries; however, specific contractual enquiries should be directed to the nominated contact detailed in the tender documentation.
