    Forward Procurement Planning (FPP) is a way of thinking about your future procurement needs, and integrating these in your current business programs and budget submissions.

    FPP complements your existing procurement activities. It helps you review your contracts and identify potential efficiencies. You may find opportunities to aggregate similar requirements across business units, or develop period contracts rather than a one-off arrangement.

    There is a spreadsheet to assist you in your FPP efforts. It allows you to list major procurements (exceeding public tendering thresholds) that are likely to emerge in the years to come. This template is for your internal use and can be modified to suit your needs.
