    The Website Standards and Guidelines suite of documents form part of the Website Governance Framework. Application of the Standards will assist in ensuring:

    • consistency across all WA Government websites
    • increased accessibility and usability of WA Government online information and services
    • reliable and trusted online information and services.

    What is required?

    The following standards and guidelines have been provided to assist agencies with the development of WA Government websites.


    A series of web guidelines have been produced to provide better practice recommendations on various website topics. These guidelines are intended to act as a ready-reference guide summarising key aspects of website issues. Links to other resources that provide more comprehensive information have been included throughout. (Documents over 2 megabytes in size will have the size indicated).
