    Biosecurity and Agriculture Management Payments

    The Office of State Revenue is responsible for issuing assessment notices and collecting Declared Pest Rates on behalf of the Director General, Department of Agriculture and Food.

    The Department of Agriculture and Food is responsible for all other matters relating to Declared Pest Rates and more information can be found on the Department of Agriculture and Food – Recognised Biosecurity Groups website.

    Perth Parking Licence Payments

    The Office of State Revenue is responsible for revenue collection and administration of the Perth Parking licensing system on behalf of the Director General, Department of Transport.

    The Department of Transport is responsible for administering the Perth Parking Management Act 1999 and for ensuring that all non-residential parking within the Perth Parking Management Area is licensed. The Perth Parking Management Act 1999 requires that all non-residential parking bays within the Perth Parking Management Area be licensed with a fee paid where liable.

    If you are the owner or manager of a property within the Perth Parking Management Area you are responsible for ensuring you hold a valid parking licence.

    Business Franchise (Tobacco) Licence - Indian Ocean Territories

    Do I need to apply for a Business Franchise (Tobacco) Licence?

    You will need to apply if you: 

    • wholesale or retail tobacco products in the Indian Ocean Territories (Christmas Island and Cocos (Keeling) Islands), and
    • the tobacco products have not been purchased from a licensed wholesaler in the Indian Ocean Territories.

     

    How do I apply?

    Please contact us if you wish to apply for a Business Franchise (Tobacco) Licence.

    Apply for a tobacco sellers’ licence through the Department of Health’s Tobacco Control Branch website.

    Application fee: $20 + 100% of retail sales.

     

    Federal Excise Registration

    You must be registered with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) before you can be licensed to:

    • produce, store, deal in, or manufacture excisable goods
    • move excisable goods underbond (excisable goods on which duty has not been paid), and
    • lodge returns and claims
