    Project Description Public Private Partnership to design, build, finance and maintain four new primary schools and four secondary schools to open progressively from 2017 to 2023, with a subsequent 25 year maintenance period.


    Primary schools:

    • Carnaby Rise opened in February 2017
    • Baldivis Gardens to open in 2017
    • Alkimos Beach to open in 2017
    • Woodland Grove to open in 2017.

    Secondary schools:

    • Lakelands stages one (2019) and two (2022)
    • Hammond Park stages one (2020) and two (2023)
    • Harrisdale stage one facilities management only and stage two (2020).
    • Aveley Secondary College stages one (2018) and two (2021)
    Project Budget $370 million (Capital Cost Component)
    Contract Award Date Contract Close: 25 September 2015 | Financial Close: 1 October 2015
    Procurement Model Design Build Finance Maintain (DBFM)
    Expected Completion Construction: December 2022 | Operations: December 2047

    Key Project Objectives

    • achieve functional educational designs that provide quality teaching and learning environments.
    • achieve value for money over the whole of life of the infrastructure pursuant to education outcomes.
    • improve efficiencies in service delivery for DoE.
    • achieve time and cost efficiencies in the delivery of a program of works through economies of scale.
