Department of Finance

State Revenue

The Office of State Revenue (OSR) aims to administer revenue laws and grant and subsidy schemes in a fair and efficient manner for the community. This involves both the collection of duties and taxes, as well as the payment of grants and subsidies.

The Commissioner of State Revenue is responsible for the daily operations of the OSR and for the performance of  statutory functions under the WA revenue laws. Although a business unit of the Department of Finance, the Commissioner is independent in the performance of the functions under these laws.
