Electricity prices
Here you can find the electricity prices for:
- homes
- homes that are also the premises for businesses or charities
- community and charitable organisations.
All of these groups are small use customers, who use 50 megawatt hours a year or less (or an average of 137 units per day).
The prices below apply from 1 July 2012. The electricity prices include a carbon component resulting from the Australian Government's Clean Energy Act 2011.

Note: One unit of electricity is equal to one kilowatt hour (kWh).
Tariff A1 – residential electricity
- Supply charge: 41.5455 cents per day
- Supply charge for additional homes: 32.2582 cents per day
- Electricity charge: 24.8866 cents per unit
Tariff A2 – residential electricity
- Supply charge: 41.5455 cents per day
- Supply charge for additional homes: 32.2582 cents per day

Tariff B1 – residential hot water heating (existing customers only)
- Supply charge: 21.5235 cents per day
- Supply charge for additional homes: 21.5235 cents per day
- Electricity charge: 14.1455 cents per unit
Tariff C1 – community and charitable organisations
- Supply charge: 37.5016 cents per day
- Electricity charge:
- First 20 units per day: 22.6965 cents per unit
- 20–1650 units per day: 27.8663 cents per units
- More than 1650 units per day: 25.3652 cents per unit
Tariff C2 – community and charitable organisations
- Supply charge: 37.5016 cents per day

Tariff D1 – combined charitable organisations/residential properties
