As a Revenue Investigator you get the opportunity to be involved in audits and investigations into the operations of taxpayers to ensure compliance with the legislation administrated by State Revenue.
Revenue Investigators will be ‘on the road’ gaining real experience conducting audits and investigating private and public companies. The work is interesting, varied and provides considerable scope to develop your skills.What can I expect, what do you have to offer?
Our investigation officers tell us they really enjoy their work environment, which is both autonomous and supportive. You get to manage your own case load whilst being mentored and guided by more experienced officers. You also have the opportunity to complete your CA/CPA and can take up to 5 hours a week paid study leave. What are the opportunities for advancement?
Within Compliance opportunities for advancement are excellent as graduates who successfully complete the graduate program can be appointed on merit to a Level 4 Investigation Officer, and then progress to Level 5 Senior Investigation Officer within a relatively short time with starting salaries of $67,933 to $75,570 p.a. respectively.
