Stephanie Black, Executive Director

Stephanie Black joined Shared Services as acting Executive Director in August 2011, where she also led the Corporate Services in Agencies Futures Planning Taskforce. Stephanie was appointed Executive Director early in March 2012 and is responsible for leading both the Shared Services business and the Decommissioning Programme. Before joining Shared Services, Stephanie was the Executive Director of the Office of the Director General at the Department of Finance. Stephanie’s first role in the public sector was as the Director of Corporate Services at the Department of State Development, which she joined in 2009. Prior to joining the State Government, Stephanie worked in a range of executive roles in the banking sector where she gained significant experience leading and managing a number of large and complex projects. Stephanie was appointed to the board of community organisation Activ in October 2008. She is a Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute and the Financial Services Institute of Australia.
