First Home Owner Grant Amendment Bill 2001
The First Home Owner Grant Amendment Bill 2001 was passed by the Legislative Assembly on 26 June 2001 and transmitted for consideration by the Legislative Council.
The Bill seeks to give effect to the Prime Minister’s announcement that payments under the First Home Owner Grant Scheme will be increased to $14,000 in certain circumstances where eligible first home owners enter into a contract to purchase or build a new home.
