On 7 December 2012, the Electricity Industry Metering Code 2005 was repealed and replaced by the Electricity Industry (Metering) Code 2012.
Forfeiture of feed-in tariff eligibility if inverter size increased

Residential net feed-in tariff scheme customers who upgrade their inverters will lose their eligibility to receive feed-in tariff payments.
