• Revenue Laws Amendment Bill 2018 and Taxation Administration Amendment Bill 2018

    The Revenue Laws Amendment Bill 2018 and Taxation Administration Amendment Bill 2018 were introduced into the Legislative Assembly on 29 November 2018.

    The Revenue Laws Amendment Bill seeks to address significant duty leakage, ensure certain taxpayer exemptions and concessions apply correctly, and improve the efficiency of the State’s taxation legislation.

    The Taxation Administration Amendment Bill will improve the administrative and enforcement arrangements in the Taxation Administration Act 2003.

    The Bills are expected to be debated when Parliament resumes in February 2019.
